i got an L f4 too.... if the sigma is better or about as nice... id also think of getting one..Hmmmm F2.8....very tempting indeed!!

Not a bad idea. I'll add the link/text tomorrow.

It's pretty damn close to the f/4L. There is a slight difference, but for all intents & purposes, they're identical, with the Sigma having the 2.8 max. And it's $400 less than the Canon 2.8. Hands down winner in my book.
