    Birthday girl and friends

This is my wife's handy work. My 10 year old had a 1/2 year birthday party. Can't have a swim party in February. This was with a 20D and 17-40 f/4 L, with 580EX flash.

The 1/2 year party....what a great idea....Mike you should submit that idea for Hallmark to market. Love the shot, looks like the girls were having a blast.

What a great fun shot to remember the fun time. The few of those I have tried I had trouble getting directly above the group, this one is perfect. The only question is which way to hang it up, LOL!

    VERY nice shot.

How about some tips on how she accomplished this.... was she standing on a chair? Or just standing on the floor above them?

AWESOME shot.... I'd LOVE to be able to capture one simular.

She just stood over them, and used a 20D and 17-40mm f/4 lens and 580EX flash. She did 4 or 5 of them at differen rotations and they all came out pretty good. My daughter is the one with all the stuffed animals... Webkins.

Great idea what a fun cute photo. Looks like the girls didn't mind it either.

They had a ball... I'll try to post some of the others... we have the group on the porch, the grop jumping in the pool, standing, sitting, you name it... I think my wife took about 50 different poses of group pictures for the girls.
