Since a majority of us use public transportation as a means of traveling over large distances it is very important to know what is going on around you and take precautions to stay safe!

*CURRENT STATUS as of 12PM 10Aug06*

The U.S. threat level is raised to Severe, or Red, for all commercial flights flying from the United Kingdom to the U.S.

The U.S. threat level is raised to High, or Orange for all commercial aviation operating in the U.S., including international flights. Flights from the U.S. to the U.K. are also Orange.

PROHIBITED ITEMS CHANGE: All liquids and gels are now prohibited at the screening checkpoints.

Interesting... I'm on the "No Fly List", so I guess that's the opposite of the list you are on...
