    Bugs at Berkshire Scenic Railroad

No matter where we go, or what we do... I always end up chasing down the bugs and working on some macro

New catch for me... some grasshoppers

This stowaway was catching a ride on the tour LOL... he was on the window and it was really bright white out behind the window.... I had to really play around using fill flash to deaden the background, and catch just the right angle to avoid the flash bouncing back at me

I think this is actually called something other than a dragonfly... but not sure... Fran? A little help here again??

I do love the bees and the bee shots

Beautiful shots!---I noticed the copyright said Patricia Strickland, are you from Millerton? The dragonfly could actually be a damselfly, which come in many colors, I haven't seen many this year in my backyard, which is unusual. Now that I have a camera to capture them, they are nowhere around, but I have had regular, larger dragonflys (but they aren't as pretty). Cat
