I registered & rec'd the last 2 Hartford spots... I'm really excited about this (my first official "meet-up" with other photographers that isn't a classroom meeting) haha... kind of nervous too.... fun fun!

Nothing to be nervous about - everyone's just out to have fun!

Now, we just need to pray for good weather.......

While the Albany walk looks like a more interesting location, I signed up for the Woodstock walk a week or so ago, since it is closer to home.

I will be honest with you... I am doing the Albany just because of the closeness... the Albany parks really dont interest me that much....LOL

Closeness is key for me too. I would never get Sue to go with me if it was far away. And, although I've been around and about Hartford for 20+ years now, I really haven't done much photography downtown. Should be interesting.

The Woodstock one is pretty much just walking around downtown Woodstock. While this is a really cute little town, this is basically going to be street photography, something I am not really into. I decided to go to maybe meet some photographers more local to me (my few photographer friend all live a good distance from me). Also, since this is a style of photography I am not into and have really not done before, it will be a good challenge for.

Overall I am looking forward to it. I do not suppose anyone else here is doing the Woodstock, NY shoot???
