    New Toy

Well, there's times when I'm out and about where carrying along my XT just isn't practical (i.e. not out exclusively for the photos, but still want to get pictures). For those times I just purchased a Canon SD1100IS. Just came yesterday (along with my wife's birthday present, Canon S5IS) so I haven't had too much time to play with it yet. Try and see what I can get with it in the next couple of days. Certainly a lot different though the 2MP Digital Elph I had a few years ago (before the XT).

I want an everyday camera too to carry around in my purse. I can't wait to see how your new Canon photos look.

I love my G7... I carry it all the time...having a PNS around always is helpful... and the newer ones take pretty darn good pics...

Congrats on the new camera, can't wait to see some photos. I've still got my lowly little G3 that I keep in the car all the time, scratched and a little beat up but still works fine.
