I'm reasonably certain Adobe Reader doesn't support multimedia (sound/video).... not sure, though.
Ok, so I have been searching the net to see if I could add music to a slideshow that is a pdf file. I haven't found an answer. I made the slideshow in Lightroom and exported it to a pdf but the music you can add from Lightroom does not stay with the file when you make it a pdf. Does anyone know how I can add music? I have Adobe Reader 8.0. Any help would be appreciated.

There is not audio support in PDF.
Your best bet would be to export it as Flash if your app supports it.
OpenOffice supports Flash output from it's presentation module.

Lightroom only exports into Adobe Reader. So now that I am in Adobe Reader I wanted to find a way to add music. I think I need some software upgrades........

There are several programs out there that can do slideshows with transitions and include music. If you can be specific in what you want to accomplish, I'll get you some recommendations.
