Ok, in case you don't know..........I use a Canon Xti.
Ok, as most of you know I'm not too informed when it comes to Lighting. I'm working on it, I swear......question is.......I use a Sigma EF 500 Flash and I am looking for something that might give off more light and work a further distance then mine does.
I need to keep the cost under $200. Do you have any suggestions.
My flash works pretty well but it doesn't power off enough light during distance shots. I have 2 upcoming events that I will be doing for work which involve low light and me taking the photos from a distances.

I was going to say that the Canon flash has really gone down in price and then I seen it was refurbished. Thanks for the link Orgnoi1, I might consider that since that was the flash I have been wanting. (just not sure about buying refurbished).Originally Posted by Orgnoi1

Buying refurbished is completely fine... its fully tested by Canon and a lot of times it never went to a customer but was an open box or such... you should have no worries about doing it...

i think the 430ex might not be as strong as the 500 (eg?) sigma but i could be wrong... how much is a better beamer? those are supposed to work well.
