I have toyed around with the idea of having an IR class out at the house... if there are between 3-(say)7 people who are interested in learning about IR and its usages... It would be a fairly short class with some "classroom", some hands on, and some shooting out on the property... the hands on...
When you convert a camera or use an IR filter you need to be aware that certain lenses will cause "lens flare". This list was just tested by me... feel free to add any lenses that you have tested if you shoot IR. There is also a very good comprehensive list here:...

I was thinking about getting a IR filter for my nikkor 50mm...i was wondering well the filter would work ...if ne one uses a IR filter i would love to see some photo's taken with it.......thanks

Has anyone experimented doing IR photography with a Canon Rebel XSI? I have recently bought one along with a Hoya R72 filter. What kind of settings would I need to use to take IR photos with the camera on a tripod with a remote?

I finally got my IR camera out yesterday!!! About time too... it felt really great to get out and shoot in the yard and I really am happy with my colors on the shots....:)
