The HMS Bounty and Lynx were at Portsmouth Harbor over Memorial Day weekend, so I went down early Sunday morning before the 20 + thousand crowd that was expected. Wish I could have gotten closer.

On Monday morning I caught the USS Hartford (SSN 768) being assisted into the slips at the Electric Boat shipyard for repairs. Back in May, the Hartford was involved in a collision with the USS New Orleans in the Straits of Hormuz. Here's a couple shot of her being brought into EB.

A tugboat assists a US Navy Virginia class fast attack sub as they head back to the sub base in Groton, CT. Now what would have made this shot perfect is if the New England Central Railroad was running on the tracks in the background... :D
