Went to The Finger Lakes Region of NY this summer for a long weekend in the town of Hammondsport. It was great. Was at Great Bay National Wildlife Refuge Tuesday afternoon when this KC-135R aerial refueling tanker came in to land, actually it did this a few times, was most likely practicing approach or touch and go landings. The NH Air National Guard is based on the same property as the Wildlife refuge.

I just found out that the Blue Angels are scheduled to fly at a free airshow that is about an hour from me in April. I'll have to check that out. Any tips on shooting them? I am thinking of getting the 100-400 IS so may have to pick it up for this event.
