Something very peaceful about a cemetery especially with snow on the ground, I also thin that when you photograph it you are is some regards showing respect to those buried there and that they will be remembered.
The new Nikon P7700 I got takes some impressive night shots! Friend of the Family House.....no flash hand held in Night Scene Mode. ISO 1600 f2.0 super impressive.....even my DSLR I had wasn't this nice at ISO 1600! (For some reason it was a lil sharper on my end)
They almost look like a flower bouquet in the woods. Now that December isn't real wintery yet I've got to get out more to shoot.:)
Ever see an old stone wall in the middle of the woods and wonder who or why would some one build it there? Just goes to show how well trees will grow back. I'm sure that at one time this was pasture or open field, our forefathers didn't waste there time building walls in the woods. So this...
Found this near the walls in the woods and the cistern shot. Had to have been part of the farm, now gone completly taken back by the woods.
I think these may have been cisterns, could also have been the base for a silo. Near some of the walls I took in the woods. must have been a working farm
