Is there a way to add this as a sticky or the like?
One of my prime areas to keep up to date on the Foliage changes.
Been online since 1999 and is quite informative.
Image Posting in threads - Please please, please.. try to keep your images at 1000 Pixels or less on the longest or highest side, this will cut down on load times for those who are on Dial Up and so members who do not use a wide screen monitor can see the whole photo without having to scroll.

Something very peaceful about a cemetery especially with snow on the ground, I also thin that when you photograph it you are is some regards showing respect to those buried there and that they will be remembered.

ISO 1600 f2.0 super impressive.....even my DSLR I had wasn't this nice at ISO 1600!

Ever see an old stone wall in the middle of the woods and wonder who or why would some one build it there? Just goes to show how well trees will grow back.
I'm sure that at one time this was pasture or open field, our forefathers didn't waste there time building walls in the woods. So this...
Found this near the walls in the woods and the cistern shot. Had to have been part of the farm, now gone completly taken back by the woods.
I think these may have been cisterns, could also have been the base for a silo. Near some of the walls I took in the woods. must have been a working farm
George Washington Tavern in Washington Depot, CT great place for lunch or dinner.
I haven't shot in awhile but got a little bit of free time yesterday. Was great to get back out, even though my fingers were numb after a few mins.

Took a walk yesterday along a small stream a couple of miles from my house and caught this part of a small stream that I kind of like.

The wife and I headed to the Basha Kill WMA in Sullivan County Saturday looking for some fall photos. We found some nice colors and came home happy.
This is the largest tree in Connecticut, and also maybe the largest in the USA
It is dedicated to Gifford Pinchot, considered to be the father of the US forest service
