Adam races in a Miata Spec Class. As he lives in Virginia & races on tracks mostly in his vicinity I haven't had a chance to see him run. This past weekend My wife & I drove to Summit Point, WV to watch him. Another son, Jed, came up from Atlanta (he crews for Adam) and he showed me some good places to shoot from around the course. We just happened to be in the right spot at the right time. The driver in front of Adam accidently hit his kill switch while shifting causing Adam to take this diversion.

Great shots!! I have a few like that from the SPEED world challenge series when it came to Lime Rock a few years ago. Did you do a little clone work in the last pic or is that the way it came out?

It was pretty dusty where he initially went off the track (from other excursioners before him) so the pix are a bit muddied. On Saturday he qualified 7th & finished 5th, on Sunday he qualified 5th & finished 5th.

LOL!

Caught! Behind the red car on the top was a distraction that I did a quick (poor) cloning on. Now that you pointed it out I can see the clone 'ripples'.
