It's amazing what ice can do, all it takes is water seeping into the crack of a boulder and a good freeze and over time you get this. This boulder is probably close to 8' tall so you can appreciate the size of it.

wow...then it rolls over and down a hill causing other boulders to loosen and join the rolling and soon ya got a few hundred tons of rock running amock! Dang..

Man I didn't think of that, this was right next to the road on a steep hill and I like the idiot I am was standing in front of my van and downhill. :doh :doh :D

That's a cool pic...I love taking outdoor pics and looking for quirks in nature...and you sure found one!

Thanks ffor the comment, I love coming across stuff like this, sometimes it doesn't really make for a good photo, but it's neat none the less.
