That does look nice!

I've lived in the Albany area all my life (minus a few years in Chicago) and I've never every consdiered moving to a warm climate before. Until this year. Now I get why people want to relocate :D I've had it up to my eyeballs with cold and snow.

I wasn't thinking this year was that bad... overall. I grew up in Virginia and moved to the Albany area 20 years ago. I still don't like the winters, but then again I didn't really like the peak heat in the summers down there... so its hard to find the perfect place. Given a choice, I'd probably rather have hot than cold though.

Yeah, this year really hasn't been that bad overall. It's just this snap of cold that is doing me in. Especially when I trapped inside all day with my kids! :)

I hate heat and humidity though too. I don't think there is a perfect place for me? Where is there someplace that stays a temperate 70 degrees year 'round? And doesn't get any lower than say, 40 degrees? And not any hotter than 80? LOL!

In the US, I think that San Diego, CA is the only place.

Great shots Craig. Buck up little buddy, spring is only 4.5 weeks away. :D :D Fla. is a nice place to visit, but I'll stick to New England or upstate New York, I love the seasonal changes, cold doesn't bother me that much the August heat I can't stand, and I love fall and spring it can't be beat. So I'll put up with month or so of frigid weather and a month of unbearable heat to enjoy the rest.

Sorry but I had to cool down (offset) those HOT photos. :doh :D

No No! when its in the 20's or 30's and you go outside first thing with no jacket, why then you know you are ALIVE. :) :) To be honest I don't normally wear a jacket if the suns out and it's 35 or above with no wind, love it cool. Well that is as long as I know I won't be outside for a long time.

i have just begun wearing the jacket in the last 3 weeks... up till then it was a tee shirt and an open, long sleeve button down over it. ( im partial to denim my self) lol

Same here... even today I wore a tee shirt and a fleece... all day getting the snowmobiles ready and to work... I really like the cooler weather... once it hits 75 I want to stay inside in the AC

Nah feeling alive comes with going out to the field for a week and having the average high be -29 and the average low be -45 sleeping in tents and using steel cans built over holes in the ground.

But with that experience I am definitly ready to move back south, even though I enjoy the beauty and all NNY and New England have to offer.

lol Aron... Sounds like quite the experience.. You can keep it though.

Yes, if its one thing we got in this little corner of the world its beauty!! Id miss the New England View for sure.. thats why a nice house in the woods for summers here and a house on the water down south.. for winters!!
