Hi everyone.I'm new to this site and relatively new to photography as well. Here are a few action shots I've taken of my son on his mini quad.

Ok,I'm not sure why the pictures came up as thumbnails instead of actual size  Evidently,I'm relatively new to computers too :o:

Great shots.....mini quads look like a blast wish I was young again!

the picture thing might be solved by putting [img] (then here the URL to the picture) [img] all with no spaces. Hope that helps and makes sense.

Well Aron was half right... first you have to load them up on a server somewhere... either here in our gallery (which you are more then welcome to do) or on another site like SmugMug... and then using the and tags as you will see in our gallery you can highlight that link and then paste it direct to the thread....

And by the way... some awesome shots!!
What you did is fine also though...

I got those full sized by cheating a bit and using the "attachment" image paths. If you want to post the images full size, this is what you want to do. Before you post a discussion thread about the pictures, go to the Gallery menu option and click on it, then click on Submit an Image. This will let you upload images to the gallery, giving them a title, keywords, etc. These images will be in your free gallery here at the site, and you can load as many as you like. On the page where the images load, you will find a list of code tags for posting the images on other sites. For posting in the forum, you want to copy the BBCODE in full, and just paste it in the body of your forum post. Once you get familiar with it, you'll be able easily figure out how to just grab one of those codes for a group of images, and manually changing the filename so you don't have to copy and paste one for each image.

Now, back to your images... they are awesome. I don't think I have a favorite of the bunch because they are all so good. I like the action, the color, the composition.

What camera and lens did you use for these?

By the way, you are among a lot of "moto" shooters here at NorthEastFoto.

LOL yeah he was getting bombarded with a bunch of "use manual focus and prefocus" posts over on another site so I told him to stop by... he even had a post saying that maybe his camera wasnt fast enough focusing  because he was having some focus point issues... :D I dont know... my first year of shooting MX when I got back into digital was all with a 350D and I had no focus problems :happy

Ya know I just realized something REALLY bad with these shots...

I must be getting older... I am picturing Trish's son doing the same thing and me worrying he is going to get hurt....oh god what is the world coming to....LOL
