From my motorcyclr trip a few years ago. This was taken between Jasper & Banff (Alberta). One of my favs. I apolgize for the copyright notice but this image is / has been ripped off so many times I can't count.

Beautiful shot. No blown sky on this one.:D Sure wish we had skies like that around here. All we ever get is overcast with a hint of blue.:mad:

Yea, they really do. But an amazing picture!

You should put the copyright above the water...then you can put a reflection of that in the water as well. ;)

It was quite early in the morning, abt 7:30. I was riding north towards Jasper on Icefields Parkway when I passed this scene. I almost dropped the bike stopping & pulling over. By the time I was set up the road, previously devoid of any traffic, was now lined with people snapping away. I used a polarizing filter on the 24-70mm lens mounted on the 1dII. With the very low angle of the sun there was some pretty dramatic lighting. The polarizer really deepened the blue of the sky which was already pretty blue. Of course now I wish I had set up the tripod & shot several images to stitch together later. . .
