The festival didn't have food that good, but there was plenty of food. I thought it would be a small thing, but it was huge. It's at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds and most of the buildings were used with vendors for wool (of course) for knitting, weaving, etc., one building was for geology--stones to buy to make jewelry, plus jewelry to buy. Tons of handmade baskets. Lots of different people spinning their own wool, dog frisbee demonstrations, sheep dog trials, the barns are full of sheep and llamas and alpacas. A building for kids (hay bale maze, different activities). Wine sampling, soup sampling, etc. Turned out to be a fun time, we plan on going next year.
