This has been a very busy month and a half since school started, so I don't get to post as regularly as I like:wc . But here are some shots from the last two weeks or so, mostly soccer and Vball.

A couple of digs:

Heavy contention:

Slide tackle:

And *surprise* some equestrian. These are not very advanced riders, so the action is pretty tame. Also, due to the weather, all of my shots had to be taken inside where the exif was typically iso 3200, f1.8 and 1/160s - very dark:

That's it for now. Thanks for looking and C&C welcome.

Ian

Great work Ian. Looks like your conditions are typical for volleyball, and you got some good shots there. That first header shot of soccer is awesome. I shoot some for a school that has white jerseys too, and they are very tough to get exposed well. Good job.

Thanks Silver and Gold:) . I really like shooting soccer even though I never played it before. The gym is not so hard to shoot in if you have the right equipment:D . And any time you need help I'd be happy to if I can. Mike also knows his stuff inside of a gym.

Best regards,

Ian

Ain't she a beaut? There are some magnificent animals at the two farms where I've been shooting (including one very friendly dog ;) ).

Holy crow....I never considered soccer such a rough sport, and I played rugby!!! Some of those shots make the sport seem ruthless!!!! You might have said this, but what age level are these shots? high school or college I mean.

You played rugby? I guess farm girls do rock:cool: . These are Division 3 college players and it seems to be a very agressive type of game - constant body checking and many marginally clean tackles. There's also a lot of "inadvertant" shoving going on when the refs aren't looking. They play hard:Duel. So far this season I've only seen one shoving match and that ended quickly. I'm kinda surprised there weren't more, although I'm glad. No need for fighting.:argue Thanks for taking the time to reply:) .
