The name of the band is When Noone Is Watching. I was only able to photograph them during their first song, but I think they came out OK.

I'm not sure I know what I'm doing regarding posting pics so we'll see what happens. This is my first time photographing a band with a oight show, so C&C is welcomed.

PS - Apparently I don't know how to post pics here. Some help would be appreciated.

Ian, its the URL's to your pics, there is part missing. If you go to the pics and right click on em,then click Properties, youll see the URL's are a bit longer than you have posted. Also, you need the end Image tag at the end of the url too [/img] and, when doing this, be sure to NOT make it a Hot Link, you want the URL to stay black (not orange) and have no underline, If this happens, just set your curser between the last character and the [/img] and hit back space once! Great shots by the way!

I still can't figure out what I'm supposed to do. I don't know html, so that's probably the problem. This is frustrating:( .

These arent too bad actually....did you use manual or shutter speed or what? There is a lot of motion blur but it sort of works with the ambiance of the photos. I see they used a LOT of red lighting...I HATE when they overdo the red! Do you have an external flash? I didnt see one listed with your equipment. You might benefit from using a flash and bouncing it off a wall or even the ceiling in really really low light concerts. Personally I try NOT to use a flash...it kind of takes away from the whole mood of the picture. Play around with the shutter speeds...I try and keep int under 1/60 but then I bump up the ISO depending on the lighting but nothing under 400 and then I bump up the exposure roughly 2. I hope to see more of what you can do!

Aperature priority mode set to f/1.8 (wide open), and I typically was getting 1/40-1/15s shutter speeds. The bass player was shot at 1/15s. The room was really dark and there was no real organized light show. There were no spots in front of the band, only the red light on the side.

Yah I can see why you had a hard time getting good shots then! With almost No light there was just no way for you! You did well with what light you did have though!
