I usually try to mix things up and post a few images of the whole team, but my daughter had an excellent game so I feel like a little tribute to her is in order. Her team is undefeated and they were playing the number two team, who has only lost to them in an early meeting during the season. They won in 4 games, and it was a very exciting match. Shots were with a Canon 1DMk2N and 200 f/1.8, 135 f/2, and 85 f/1.4. I shot all at ISO1600, f/2, and 1/400s... and that puts me about a stop under for a good portion of the court.

Great shots, Mike! #'s 2, 4 & 10 get my vote though. Your horizons, WB, exposure all look good. Do you use Noise Ninja or Neat Image or any other noise reduction program? It's probably a personal taste thing, but I generally like a little less noise/grain in my iso1600 shots. I really like #10 - great capture.

Ian, no noise reduction on these... just some exposure/color adjustment, resize, and sharpening. Number 10 was the 200mm f/1.8.... standing from the corner of the floor. It is VERY difficult to get any shots in focus from there, but when you do get them, they are a nice perspective. I'll usually invest a half a game at that, then go to the more traditional spots.
