as some of you know, i hate shooting people. "don't shoot my bad side"

I was approached when at the Family Values tour this past weekend by a friend who is in need of some "good shots" ... I don't know who lied to him thinking I was good. But we'll leave that to the critiques, and I'm my worst.

Lead singer Sebby or "Seven"

This last shot is my favorite, not sure if they'll like Seven's hand out front...

The only one I didn't really care for was the 3rd one and that maybe be because of it being in color and not B&W. I really like your B&W ones, but keep in mind I am not a pro just the possible end consumer of the bands product. :)

hey, i keep your critiques in mind... i'm very new at people shots altogether. But you're right, as pro as a photog can be, i guess the end consumer's wants/needs are what matters.

the band is farely new, and they're from New Britian. greatest bunch of guys i've hung out with... it was a good experience.

thank you guys for looking and commenting!

one of our new members, LizBraun shoots bands every now and then... Maybe she'll see this and post up.. although I know shes done some of this stuff, I think she does more live concert Photos!

good job Justin... Did you use your Bee's? or the 580 EX?

shot the bees ... i have no more Speedlights. Think i'm gonna order a 430ex and off shoe camera cord (maybe a bracket too) for live shows.

I would have to say that #2 would be my least favorite... it just doesnt have that pop that you would want... #4 being my favorite... and the black and whites are good too...

I have to agree with everyone about pic#4, I like the last b&w but the hand bugs me, I seem drawn to it. Good band shots, I think you're your own worst critic.

My favorites are 1, 2, and 4.....I think what sets any picture apart from another is the presentation....I love how you use different angles to get the shots, from above, from ground level....it makes the shots interesting and engaging!!! Great job!!!
