Ok, Finally, Im done with the edits and uploading to my site. I have made 3 seperate galleries.. Luray VA., The Luray Caverns and, Shenandoah Nat'l Park.

Here are two from the Caverns:
Discoverd by two brothers and a friend who were Spelunkers and had found other Caverns, these are "The best Caverns in the world" according to National Geographic Magazine. Here are two shots, see the rest at: http://zacker.smugmug.com/gallery/1845598/1/92582684

1. The Caverns "Cathederal" Its a huge, natural Ampitheater, 160 feet below ground. The Organ is connected to different Stalactite formations around the cavern, each seperate note is made by a small hammer that strikes a formation, causing the crystals inside to vibrate.. the man who built this system of natural sound, had to use a small rubber mallet to "hit" over 3000 different formations to find one of each note on a standard size keyboard! The sound was like a mixture of pipe organ and bells...it was pretty amazing! PS. The little blonde with black sweatshirt in the foreground is Mrs. Zacker..lol cavern shots were done with canon 30D, 420EX flash and 17-40 f4 L

2. This is the Organ that controlls it all!

Here are a few from around the Cabin In Luray, Basically, a farming town..lotsa neat stuff to shoot..tons of old barns and old houses and such, Sandy ( Stoneyloansome) would go crazy here..lol I elected NOT to shoot every old barn and building as I dont think 800GB's of memory cards would have been enough! lol heres the link to the gallery on my site: http://zacker.smugmug.com/gallery/1845610/1/92584802

3. The view from the deck of the cabin we rented.. you can just see the mountain in the distance, behind the fog... It showes up really great in good, sunny days but looks more interesting like this..in the fog! 30D, 28-135 IS

4. Believe it or not, this road actually leads up to the town dump..yeah, it amazed me too!..lol I did a painterly effect to it because it was kind boring in its normal state.! 30D, 28-135IS

Finally, heres a few from the Park. and heres the link to the gallery: http://zacker.smugmug.com/gallery/1845595/1/92561101 (http://zacker.smugmug.com/gallery/1845595/1/92561101)

5. Here are a shot of the Blue Ridge Mts. Taken from one of the "Pull Offs" on Skyline Drive In the park. 30D, 17-40 F4 L

6. one of the many small falls we came upon while hiking along the "Rose River Trail. About a 41/2 mile hike down hill to the river and then along the river back up to the trail that goes up to "Dark Hollow Falls" (about another 2 to 21/2 miles. up!) Its about a 1500' elevation that wasnt too bad because it was spread out over the 41/2 miles... The day before we did a 2 mile straight down and then straight back up of 1000' elev. The last mile was the brunt of the 1000' climb.. I thought I was gonna die!!! lol 30D, 17-40 F4L
