This is a shot of the Heublien Tower on the top of Talcott Mountain in Simsbury CT town line for more info please click on the link below.


Another closer view, well as close as my 200mm will get me. :doh


Here's another one I took in January of 2005, different vantage point, just wish I could remember where I took this one from, looks like more drives.:D

Is this taken from Route 202? I remember going by this back in the winter on the way to Avon.

Close, the first 2 were taken on a local road that runs parallel to Rte 200, Nod Road, runs off of Rte 185 to Rte 44 in Avon along the base of the Mountain, the winter shot I think I took either at the Avon end of Nod Road or a Business parking lot off of Rte 202 You can see the tower from Rte 202 very easily. It's open to the public right now it's about a 1 mile hike in along the mountain ridge.
