Very moody, somber and austere. It reminds me of something out of the "dark lagoon". It appeals to my "sad self". Nice shot.

You don't have to be "sad" for this to appeal. ;) But I do see your point about the dark lagoon. I can just picture some creature coming up out of the water.

It almost seems like for IR, some clouds in the sky gives a much more dramatic look than without IR.

Actually the IR dream shot is to have a few items... partly cloudy blue sky... people, water, and trees... those are the ingredients to having a terrific IR shot... so you can get all sorts of contrasting items...

i love IR... Is the cam set up for IR or do you just use a filter?

This cam is set up for IR-Only... so no filters... and it shoots normal shutter and aperature.. =)
