I really like the reflections I got on alot of the pics, but I do see that I need to not zoom in so tight so that
I can catch all of the reflection in the water.....I just feel it would look better :dunno

Thanks guys....I never realized how hard it was to "track" the birds in motion....I got alot of nice pics but alot were out of focus and some were half of a bird :lmao

I love the pics of my little nieces....so cute. I wish they were a little sharper, but I was shooting into the sun alot....since that was the only place the park bench was :doh I had to sit on the bench and shoot everything at a distance :D

I figure as I learn PS more I should be able to clear them up a little, but until then as always all of my pics are Posted Unedited....except for the resizing :dunno

Thanks....I really like the way they came out too, except I wish the 1st was a tad clearer, 2 was better centered and the last one I wish I had caught the whole reflection in the water....I think that would have looked awesome, but hey I figure its not bad for the first time.....gives me more to improve on :cheers

I know one thing I have definately learned........ when possible, take SEVERAL shots of the same "subject" from different angels and different perspectives.

Like with the ones I took of baby...... IF I had stopped at one or two, I wouldn't have captured that FAVORITE one I took of her. SNAP... SNAP... SNAP.... over and over and it just so happened that one of the LAST ones was the best. :thumb

Again...... GREAT shots.....

Simply by me sitting here looking at them, I can tell how much you enjoyed your shoot. :thumb

Looks like you really had fun out there!!!! Shooting into the sun is def hard....sometimes I find if I'm close enough to the subject using a flash, even outdoors, helps to get rid of some of teh shadows that are created. Those duck and geese pics are awesome! See, that's what happens when you sit there patiently snapping away!!! You get awesome shots....like Barb said, gotta take lots to get that perfect one. Goodness knows I do!!!

Yea I took tons of pics of everything......I only added "a couple" pics from that day to the gallery.

Like I said unfortunately I had to sit on the bench and shoot toward the sun.....eventually I will be able to walk around and get some better shots :cheers

I think that for being stationary you did really well!!! And sometimes just sitting still lets the animals get used to you being there and you get the better shots. I was thinking about staking out my mom's bird feeder sat:happy

Nice work Ron. Where did you shoot the ducks/geese? ... looks like you could get a lot closer than the spot Ross and I were going.

I took the kids over to Van Schaick Island pond and park in Cohoes......the ponds not very big so its easy to get some good shots:D
