Here is another set from my most recent shoot. This band was on tour from Maryland and were all kinds of fun to shoot. The bass player was ALL OVER THE PLACE! (And unfortunately under the red gels, so many good action shots of him were not usable  ). Will shoot for critiques.

Haha, that's why I love that shot. It is hard to explain but he was singing while literally inhaling the mic. He actually had the mic head all the way in there at some point but the burst missed that. :D

Ummmmm ... sooo many jokes come to mind on that second shot but I cant say em or id have to ban myself...Grrrr... lol nice shots.. it seems to me that alot of the "New" concert photos are usually blurry action shots... but im so far out of the loop that maybe its only because most are shot with a P&S camera?? these look great though.

nice series, the third one could be a black mail shot of sorts, hahaha.

I think you have some great work on the concert series... I see you are liking that 30/1.4 lens for sure... and its doing a real good job for ya!!!

it seems to me that alot of the "New" concert photos are usually blurry action shots... Yeah, I am not really keen on the blurry shots. There is only one that I have ever seen that was actually interesting (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showpost.php?p=5822153&postcount=251) rather than just a mess of color.

I see you are liking that 30/1.4 lens for sure Yeah, recently it is the only lens that is (barely) fast enough for the places I have been shooting. Even the nifty fifty at 1.8 is a bit to slow for some of these venues. :(
