A friend at work ask me to take pictures of her daughter for her prom. This is my first attempt at anything quite this serious. The last one is a traditional B&W. I took it with a Yashica 124G and developed the film myself. I wanted to do someting different than the other photographers.
The dress was a nightmare. It was made out of a reflective material and a flash fill wasn't happening. Sooooo....What do you think.....?????

I think these are beautiful. They are much better then photos taken with a disposible camera mom's and dad's use to take photos of their kids in front of the fireplace...LOL!! I like these because they remind me of wedding photos. Great job!!!

Thanks everyone. Here is a couple more that survived my processing and developing tank.LOL If I start to do more of this, How do you feel about the traditional B&W idea. I though it might be an added bonus that would help get business and something few others are doing?

I like the first one and the last one best of the last post....

Traditional B & W is just very classic.... good idea, in my opinion.

I love #2 as well. It's a great shot of her face. And the tree shot adds some fun to the set. I love b&w.
