So i was wanting to find a small compact P&S i could carry in my pocket at all times (it seems i see alot of stuff to shoot when im out and dont have my cam at my side) so i looked around the net and setteled on the canon SD850IS.. its a tiny little 8MP power house...at least in my eyes.. the only things i wish it had were RAW capture and AV and TV modes.. its got manual controls but im not sure how to use em yet.. also, the flash stinks as it blows out anything that is too close to it..lol Though, IQ is up to par. here is a shot i did this am..it was dark so i had to boost the levels which made it really noisy so i ran it through neat image.. i think it did OK.

Here is a "Juiced" shot from yesterday.. one of its first (i just got it yesterday)

They look good to me, if you never told me I probably wouldn't know the difference.

the new DigicIII is nice... and the 8Mp's with IS and its size make it what i wanted.

So "Juiced" = HDR?? Is this some sort of "Photography gang speak" in Connecticut?

I love the quality for these images.. very nice! Does it shoot in RAW??

Glad you like the new cam... I know as we get deeper and deeper into the longer rides Trish and I use our G7 and SD900TI much more... doesnt hurt the back as much on a 100 mile ride...

yeah ross, I think once i figure out how to adjust SP and AV itll be great.. Im not into fully auto modes on anything.. lol im smarter than some dumb camera..i think!

Anyhow, its fun to just be able to wip it out and shoot at any given moment..

(im talking about the camera gutter minds!! lol)
