View Full Version : Canon 200/1.8L (SOLD)

Lets say... I love this lens... its amazing... for those that have used one they can attest to it being one of the fastest Canon lenses ever made...

The reason I am thinking about selling? I just dont use it... I dont shoot indoor sports aside from skateboarding... its too long for in there... and for anything outside I still have my 70-200L and Siggy 100-300/4...

This sale is for serious inquiries/buyers only... no tire kicking allowed. I will personally deliver if the sale is within 100 miles. Otherwise it will have to be shipped and will have to be insured at the buyers expense.

Those that know me know I baby my gear and this lens is no exception. It looks exactly how I bought it.

What you will get in the purchase:

Canon 200/1.8L Serial #13414
Original Canon foot
RRS low Profile foot (added part)
Canon Hood
Both lens caps (Soft Front/Hard Rear)
Canon neck strap
Aftermarket Canon Soft case (added part - overseas part only)
Non-OEM hard case (what I received when bought)

Asking Price (SOLD)

This lens will be up for visual and operational inspection if needed.

third thought... Will you take a kid for an even trade, I've got two! :D

LOL no trades... especially kids...LOL

To make this clear as to why the sale... its time to get a new sled... and I really dont want to have a loan if I can help it... between this sale and my trade in I should be able to keep the loan to a minimum... I hope...

So if I steal a sled, with the paper work of course, you'll do an even trade LOL

Okay I'll stop clogging up the thread, I envy whomever gets this deal!

LOL.... yup... I want a 2006-2007 Crossfire6 or 7 Sno-Pro

Hmmm... I might be selling mine too. I love the lens... its probably one that I thought would be the last to go. But, since I've got the Mark III, I've gotten really spoiled and lazy. Rather than using two bodies, I'm just using a 70-200 and bumping up to ISO6400. I'll see how you do you your sale before I try to sell it though. We don't need an inverted price war going on here. :)

boooooo cough..rev..cough booooooo.

man, the way this winter is going im not sure i would be investing in a sled yet. i think you may be better of just keeping your 500 for another year or two to see if we ever start getting snow again.

good luck with the sale.

I'll rent it

Couldn't ask to deal with a better guy. If I was in need of a 200 f/1.8 I would buy from Ross in a heartbeat.

01-09-2008, 10:45 PM
I only wish I COULD afford that.

01-29-2008, 07:44 PM
Bumpin up for new pics and a lower price than originally....

01-29-2008, 09:11 PM
Anybody want to lend me $3500?

01-29-2008, 10:23 PM
Why'd you drop the price? I'd think with the pricing out on the new f/2, that the price on this guy would hold up higher...

01-29-2008, 10:27 PM
Bought a new sled today... would be nice to pay most of it off....

01-29-2008, 10:29 PM
will you take a third party check?:drool
